Valley of Hope Rehabilitation Centre was founded on the belief that every individual deserves a second chance. What began as outreach and ministry work among individuals struggling with addiction evolved into a dedicated rehabilitation centre committed to restoring lives, rebuilding families, and renewing hope.

We understand that addiction affects not only individuals but also families, communities, and future generations. That is why our programs focus on complete transformation through rehabilitation, counseling, spiritual support, mentorship, and reintegration into society.

Our mission is to walk alongside every individual on their recovery journey, helping them discover healing, purpose, and a future filled with hope.

From Ministry to Transformation

2007 – 2010
Rehabilitation outreach work in the community

Kirigiti Rehabilitation Ministry

The journey began with rehabilitation outreach work in Kirigiti, where individuals struggling with addiction received support, encouragement, and guidance toward recovery. This period laid the foundation for a lifelong commitment to helping people overcome addiction and find restoration.

2014 – 2021

Ting'anga Church Ministry

Rev. Canon Lawrence Mbugua established a church ministry in Ting'anga dedicated to discipleship, counseling, spiritual growth, and community transformation. It became a place where individuals and families found hope, mentorship, prayer, and guidance during difficult seasons of life.

2021 – 2022
Community outreach event in a Kenyan community

Githogoro Community Outreach

The ministry expanded its reach into vulnerable communities through counseling programs, community support initiatives, addiction recovery interventions, and family empowerment activities. Many lives were touched through compassionate care and community-based rehabilitation efforts.

2022 – Present

Birth of Valley of Hope Rehabilitation Centre

Valley of Hope Rehabilitation Centre was established as a dedicated recovery centre focused on helping individuals overcome addiction and rebuild their lives. Today, the centre provides rehabilitation support, counseling, mentorship, family restoration programs, spiritual guidance, and life transformation opportunities for individuals from all walks of life.
